The nearest airport to Vilamoura is Faro which is about 20 minutes away from the apartment. You can easily get a flight to the Algarve in Portugal with easyJet flying from London airports, Liverpool, Newcastle, East Midlands, Bristol and Belfast. FlyGlobespan fly to Faro from Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen. Monarch Airlines, FlyBe and BMI also fly out to Faro from a range of UK airports.

Once you arrive at Faro airport you can hire a car and drive to the apartment. Or you can jump into a taxi at the front of the airport - again a taxi will take about 20 minutes and will cost you around €25 (prices will vary). The Algarve also has a good bus service that will take you to Vilamoura - please check bus timetables at Faro airport for up to date travel information.
