When you first open the apartment door you'll see the living/dining room with its two leather sofas, TV, DVD player, CD player, extendable dining table and log burning fire (which is actually handy in winter). But when it gets too hot in summer there's in-built air conditioning to cool you down.

You can eat meals around the dining table with everyone thanks to the extendable table top and the six dining chairs. And the sofas are perfect as a place to chill out or escape from the sun. Switch on the flat screen TV to catch up with the latest Portuguese news and television programmes, slip in a DVD to watch your favourite film or pop a CD on to listen to your favourite music.

  

On to the bedrooms and each bedroom has comfortable twin beds that are made up in clean, fresh linen so you'll sleep like a log at night. The built-in wardrobes provide plenty of storage space and there's also a chest of drawers and bedside cabinets in each bedroom. There are also two camp beds that are suitable for children and can be set up in one of the bedrooms or in the living room.

  

  

The fully fitted kitchen features fridge/freezer, hob, oven, microwave, juicer, coffee maker, toaster and kettle. Plus cupboards full of plates, bowls, cups, glasses and cutlery. There's also a dishwasher for cleaning the dishes and if you want to wash any clothes there's a washing machine too.

The main bathroom is next to the bedrooms and there's another toilet next to the entrance of the flat.

  

But the apartment isn't all based inside - there are not one but two terraces. The first is a small one that is accessible via the kitchen while the second one is bigger and can be found at the end of the living room. There's a table and chairs on this terrace which makes for perfect al fresco dining. In the afternoon the sun hits the terrace so you can sunbathe without leaving the apartment.

On a more practical note, we do provide bed linen and towels (but please do not take these towels out to the pool or to the beach) as well as a cleaning service that includes a change of linen and towels weekly. Additional cleaning and changes can be arranged at an extra cost.
